Rose Idibia, the mother of legendary singer Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia, has publicly pleaded with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru to leave her son alone.

In a viral video on Thursday evening, she expressed concerns that the singer is not in his right frame of mind as he navigates divorce proceedings with his estranged wife, Annie Idibia.

Addressing Nigerians, Mrs. Idibia called on mothers across the country to help appeal to Osawaru. She alleged that her son’s current actions are out of character, hinting at possible manipulation. “My son is going through a divorce process, and he is clearly not in his right senses now. I know my son well. That is not him,” she said.

Her concerns come amid social media buzz over a viral clip that appeared to show 2Baba proposing to Osawaru. The unexpected development has fueled speculation about the nature of their relationship, with many questioning the timing amid his ongoing marital crisis.

Mrs. Idibia also made a cryptic reference to certain beads worn by the singer, suggesting they could be influencing him. “Please, Natasha, the beads you put on his hand and on his neck, remove them and free him,” she added.

Neither 2Baba nor Osawaru has publicly responded to the allegations. However, the unfolding saga has sparked debate online, with fans divided over whether the singer is genuinely moving on or caught in a controversial situation.
