The Ekiti State Government has inaugurated a 13-member team to pilot the affairs of the State Hockey association.
The inauguration which was graced by representatives of the state government was conducted by the chairman of the association Tayo Olajubu at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium Ado Ekiti.
Earlier speaking the Special Assistant to Governor Biodun Oyebanji on Sports Development, Mr. Tunde Adesanya who expressed confidence in the ability of the association leadership charged them to bring the A game to developing Hockey in the state
In his remarks, the chairman of the newly inaugurated association, Hon. Tayo Olajubu said the newly inaugurated association is committed to improving activities of the association and take hockey in the state to a higher level.
While thanking the state government under Governor Bidoun Oyebanji for developing sports under the wing of technical advisor Dr. Olusola Osetoba, the chairman promised to justify the confidence shown in the newly inducted administrators.
The newly inaugurated administrators are Hon. Olajubu Tayo as Chairman, Eng. Folarin Jayeola as Patron, Mr. Ayodeji Olowolafe as Secretary, Hon. (Mrs.) Olayemi Ademiloye Mr. Akinweye Ismail, Mrs. Alade Adunni.
Others are Mrs Orolu Adenike, Mr. Fowobaje Tosin, Mr. Asaba James, Fajembola Oluwole, Mr. Bello Mustapha, Coach Adelusi Sunday and Adamimogo FM Nigeria’s sports caster Dayo Olujobi as media officer.
