Adamimogo 105.1FM, one of the leading radio stations in Oyo State, has marked its first anniversary of uninterrupted broadcasting, solidifying its place in Ibadan’s competitive media landscape.

Many thanks to the visioneer, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo who thought it fit to establish the radio station not just in Ibadan but first in Lagos and also in Ido-Ekiti.

Launched officially on February 15, 2024, the Adamimogo 105.1FM quickly distinguished itself through niche programming, setting it apart from numerous other media outfits in the city. Branded as the “Voice of the Light,” Adamimogo 105.1FM has built a reputation as a trusted platform for breaking news, investigative journalism, entertainment, sports, and diverse programming that resonates across multiple sectors.

In just one year, the station’s reach has extended beyond Ibadan, attracting a growing audience and fostering healthy competition within the industry. Its credibility and commitment to journalistic excellence have been reinforced by the presence of high-profile guests, including the Minister of State for Labour, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha; activist and politician Omoyele Sowore; and the Chairman of the Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers, Oba Ilori Faboro. These dignitaries have all attested to the station’s professionalism and objectivity.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, several Oyo residents applauded Adamimogo 105.1FM for its impactful contributions to the media space, urging the station to continue raising the bar.

Reaffirming its commitment to journalistic integrity, the station’s General Manager, Joshua Adegbite, emphasized that Adamimogo 105.1FM would remain dedicated to professional, balanced, and objective reporting.

Despite its relatively short time in operation, the station and its staff have garnered multiple awards, reinforcing its position as a beacon of excellence in Oyo State and beyond.
