Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has appointed Hon. Akinwale Akinwole, the 2023 Oyo North Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as the new Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission.
In a statement issued on Monday, the governor also announced the appointment of Abdul Rahman Agbotomokekere, son of the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, as a member of the State Pilgrims Welfare Board.
Other newly appointed members of the Local Government Service Commission include Mr. Yusuf Ali Akinkunmi, Alhaji Oke Taiwo, Mr. John Abisoye Adisa-Oke, and Mrs. Nike Arewa, who will serve in full-time and part-time capacities.
The appointments are part of ongoing efforts by the Makinde administration to strengthen governance at the grassroots level and improve service delivery across the state.
