President Bola Tinubu has commissioned the newly established Katsina State Agricultural Mechanisation Centre, a major initiative by Governor Dikko Radda’s administration to modernise farming and boost food production.
The centre, which houses 400 brand new tractors and complementary agricultural equipment, is meant to revolutionize farming processes to improve productivity across the state.
During his visit, Tinubu also inaugurated a 24-kilometre road project, completed within 18 months, linking key parts of the state and enhancing rural connectivity.
While commending Governor Radda’s efforts, Tinubu reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to revitalise Nigeria’s agricultural sector, declaring that food sovereignty remains a top national priority.
