The Lagos State chapter of the Labour Party (LP) has scheduled its chairmanship primaries for Friday, ahead of the July 12 Local Government election in the state.
LP State Chairman, Pastor Dayo Ekong, confirmed the development in an interview with the newsmen on Thursday.
According to Ekong, the primaries will be conducted across the various council areas in the state. She added that the party will adopt an indirect primary process, relying on delegates to select its chairmanship candidates.
