The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced that it will begin nationwide distribution of diesel and premium motor spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, starting August 15, 2025.
In a statement released on Sunday, the company said it had acquired 4,000 new compressed natural gas (CNG)-powered tankers to enhance its fuel delivery network across Nigeria.
According to the refinery, the rollout will be phased and supported by an investment in CNG refuelling stations and over 100 mobile CNG tankers. This, the company says, is to guarantee consistent and sustainable distribution.
Dangote Petroleum Refinery also disclosed that it will supply products directly to marketers, filling stations, manufacturers, telecom operators, aviation companies, and other high-volume users—without adding any extra logistics charges.
