Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan made a powerful return to winning ways on Tuesday, clinching first place in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Golden Spike meet in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
The world record holder clocked an impressive 12.45 seconds, pulling well clear of the competition and reaffirming her position as one of the top contenders this sseason.
Slovakia’s Viktória Forster took second place in 12.74 seconds, narrowly edging out Ireland’s Sarah Lavin, who finished third in 12.76 seconds.
Both runners recorded season-best times, with Lavin shaving more than a tenth of a second off her previous mark of 12.90.
