Authorities have confirmed the survival of all passengers and crew on a Delta air lines which crashed and overturned while landing at Toronto Pearson airport in Canada.
Toronto Pearson president and CEO, Deborah flint while speaking during a press briefing commended the emergency response and also in ensuring that there was no loss of life.
There were 76 passengers and four crew on board the 16-year-old CRJ900 aircraft, made by Canada’s Bombardier Company.
Eighteen passengers were taken to hospital. A child, a man in his 60s and a woman in her 40s suffered critical injuries, said Ontario air ambulance service Ornge.
However, the transportation safety board of Canada said it was deploying a team to gather information and assess the occurrence.
