The Head of Financial Crime Compliance at cryptocurrency firm, Binance, Tigran Gambaryan, has identified three Nigerian lawmakers who allegedly demanded a bribe of $150m from him.

Gambaryan who disclosed this on his x handle said while in detention, some lawmakers in the House of Representatives demanded bribes from him.

The Binance boss named Philip Agbese, Ginger Onwusibe and Peter Akpanke, all members of the House, as the men who allegedly demanded the huge sum from him.

Reacting to the development, Agbese, who doubles as the Deputy Spokesman of the House, has called on the Binance boss to support his claims with evidence or face the consequences of his actions.

Recall that Nigerian authorities detained Gambaryan and his colleague, Nadeem Anjarwalla, a 37-year-old British Kenyan who serves as the regional manager for Africa at Binance over alleged corruption.
