American R&B star Chris Brown has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent by the UK’s Metropolitan Police in connection with an alleged assault at a central London nightclub.
According to police, the incident occurred on 19 February 2023 and involved serious injuries. The 36-year-old singer was arrested in the early hours of Thursday at a hotel in Manchester.
Brown remains in custody and is expected to appear before the Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
Authorities have not released further details about the alleged assault or the victim involved.
