In celebration of Easter, Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan, an Ekiti-born philanthropist and founder of the ODF Foundation, has conveyed heartfelt greetings to Christians, urging them to embody the virtues of love, sacrifice, and compassion that the season represents.

Falegan, who also serves in the British Royal Air Force, explained the importance of extending support to the less privileged, particularly widows and the elderly. He noted that the ODF Foundation has been instrumental in providing assistance to these groups across Ekiti State.

“Easter signifies God’s profound love for humanity. It’s a time to reflect on the essence of giving and to reach out to those in need,” Falegan stated. “Through our foundation, we’ve been able to touch lives by offering financial aid, food items, and other essential support to widows and vulnerable individuals.”

The ODF Foundation’s initiatives include distributing cash gifts and food items to widows, supporting educational endeavors, and providing healthcare assistance. These efforts aim to alleviate the hardships faced by many due to economic challenges.

Falegan called on fellow Nigerians, especially those in positions of influence, to emulate such acts of kindness. “It’s our collective responsibility to uplift our communities. By sharing our blessings, we can make a significant difference in the lives of others,” he added.
