Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has approved the appointment of Dr. Aderemi Ayodele and retired Commissioner of Police, Ayodele Sonubi, to strategic positions in his administration.
In a statement released on Friday by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Dr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju, Ayodele was named a member of the Oyo State Advisory Council with immediate effect, while Sonubi will assume the role of Executive Adviser on Rule of Law Enforcement from April 1, 2025.
The appointments were confirmed through a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi.
Governor Makinde’s latest appointments are seen as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and enhance law enforcement within the state.
