Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has declared that he is unshaken by the ongoing political crisis in the state, stating that the worst possible outcome would be his removal from office.

Fubara made the statement on Monday while inaugurating new residential quarters for Government House staff in Port Harcourt. Addressing supporters, he acknowledged the persistent challenges his administration faces, noting that every effort to stabilize the state is met with new obstacles.

Despite the turbulence, Fubara praised the resilience of Rivers people, saying their determination to shape their own future.

“No matter how we have been fooled in this state, it has gotten to the point where the people have decided to take their destinies into their own hands,” he said.
