The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the mop-up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
JAMB’s Spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed that results for 11,161 candidates who sat for the exam have been released out of the 96,838 candidates initially scheduled for the mop-up exercise.
Benjamin clarified that some candidates could not access their results due to non-compliance with the prescribed process. “Candidates who are not able to access their result have been found not to have fully complied with the instruction to send ‘UTMERESULT’ (as one word text) to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number they registered with,” the statement noted.
In a related development, JAMB revealed a major security breakthrough in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC). A five-man syndicate involved in producing fake JAMB admission letters for a fee was successfully apprehended.
The Board also reiterated its commitment to upholding the integrity of the admissions process and warned prospective students and institutions against engaging in or patronising fraudulent schemes.
