Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle affecting four key ministries.

In a statement signed by the Chief of Staff, Segun Ogunwuyi, on Monday, the Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Seun Ashamu, will now head the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.

Meanwhile, Abdulmojeed Mogbonjubola, formerly in charge of the Environment Ministry, has been redeployed to the Ministry of Public Works, Infrastructure and Transport.

The outgoing Public Works Commissioner, Prof Dahud Shangodoyin, will now oversee Energy and Mineral Resources, while Prof Solihu Adelabu of the Education, Science and Technology Ministry has been assigned to lead the Ministry of Establishments and Training.

Ogunwuyi said the redeployments take immediate effect.
