The 56th NAACP Image Awards, organized by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, have announced their nominations.

The award ceremony themed “Our stories, Our Culture, Our Excellence” is scheduled to take place on 22 February and will be broadcast live in a two-hour special from the Pasadena Civic Centre on BET and CBS.

Among the notable nominees are Tems, Ayo Edebiri, Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Cynthia Erivo who are recognized for their remarkable work across various categories.

Usher and Burna Boy were nominated for “Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration (Contemporary)” for their song “Coming Home.

Wizkid earned a nomination in the “Outstanding International Song” category for his track “Piece of My Heart” featuring Brent Faiyaz.

Tems was also recognized in the “Outstanding International Song” category for her song “Love Me JeJe and Tyla for outstanding News Artist

The event continually celebrates and honor the exceptional talent of these individuals who have made significant contributions to the arts and entertainment industry.
