Minister of Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, has praised the current leadership of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) as the strongest management team ever assembled in the corporation’s history.
Lokpobiri made the statement during a courtesy visit by the newly appointed Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of NNPC Ltd., Mr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari.
During the recent meeting, Ojulari reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to building partnerships with key government institutions, including the Ministries of Petroleum Resources and Finance, to eliminate bureaucratic bottlenecks and accelerate results.
“We are here with a mindset of partnership. Antagonism benefits no one; collaboration is how we win,” Ojulari said.
The minister lauded Ojulari’s leadership approach and expressed strong confidence in his executive team, citing their impressive professional track records and personal credibility as a solid foundation for progress in Nigeria’s oil sector.
