The Ondo State deputy governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has restated his loyalty to the governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, dispelling news of secret ambition and plans to usurp power.
In a statement through his media aide, Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson, Aiyedatiwa said some reports making the rounds in recent times about his purported disloyalty to his boss were lies and aimed at causing disaffection between him and the governor.
According to the statement, the deputy governor was in constant touch with his principal on official state matters while he was away, insisting that there was no gap between them.
He further stated that the resumption of the governor will only facilitate speedy completion of projects embarked upon in his absence for the good of the people of the state.
