Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, has gifted newly crowned Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, Remo Stars, a generous sum of N10 million in recognition of their title-winning feat.
According to sources close to the team, Osimhen made a congratulatory call to the club’s Technical Adviser, Daniel Ogunmodede, where he praised the team’s resilience and fighting spirit throughout the season.
The Galatasaray star announced a split of the donation, N5 million for the players and N5 million for the technical crew as a show of appreciation for what he described as an “inspiring display of tenacity and determination.”
