An Oyo State High Court sitting in Saki has ordered the Ajoriwin of Irawo, Oba Musiliudeen Olalere, to appear before it on June 17, 2025, in connection with a case involving the alleged murder of a six-month-old baby, Azeem Wahab.

The monarch, listed as the third defendant, is facing charges alongside others in a suit instituted by businessman Alfa Hamzat Wahab.

Recall that while other defendants were present during the last court session, the monarch failed to appear, with his counsel, Mr Lateef Adedigba, citing ill health as the reason for his absence.

Reports say the prosecution is being handled by Mr Remi Alli, holding the fiat of the Oyo State Attorney General, while Dr Lukman Akanbi represents the 1st and 2nd defendants.

The matter, previously heard in Ibadan, was recently transferred to the Saki High Court for further proceedings.
