The Nigeria Police Force has successfully rescued Mrs. Folasade Odumosu, the wife of former Assistant Inspector General Hakeem Odumosu. F
Force Public Relations Officer Muyiwa Adejobi confirmed the rescue in a statement released in Abuja on Thursday
According to Adejobi, the police employed technical intelligence platforms from the Force Headquarters to track down the abductors.
Ogun State police operatives then engaged the criminals in a gun duel, neutralizing them in the swampy area of Ikorodu on Wednesday.
Following her rescue, Mrs. Odumosu is undergoing medical evaluation and has been reunited with her family ¹.
