UK prime minister, kier Starmer says Russian president Vladimir Putin’s response to a us-proposed ceasefire in Ukraine is not good enough.
Starmer who disclosed this in a press conference after convening a virtual meeting with world leaders on Saturday to discuss a potential ceasefire in Ukraine aimed at drumming up support for Kyiv.
We agreed collective pressure will be put on Russia from all of us who were in the meeting this morning,” he added.
Saturday’s meeting involved some 25 countries, including European nations, the EU commission, NATO, Canada, Australia and New Zealand as well as Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelensky.
