Khaby LaLameonr of the world’s most-followed TikTok creators, has departed the United States after being detained by immigration officials for allegedly overstaying his visa.

The Senegalese-born social media star was apprehended in Las Vegas last Friday, according to US authorities, as part of a sweeping immigration crackdown under President Donald Trump’s administration. Officials confirmed Lame’s voluntary departure but did not disclose the exact date or his current location.

Lame, known globally for his silent, comedic videos that mock overly complicated life hacks, has remained silent on the incident. His sudden absence from social media and lack of public statement has left fans speculating about his whereabouts.

He is among hundreds affected by the intensified immigration enforcement operations that have triggered nationwide protests and reignited debate over the role of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

As of now, neither Lame nor his representatives have issued an official comment.
