President Bola Tinubu has advised state governors to stay committed to delivering impactful projects and ignore what he termed “armchair critics.”
During a two-day working visit to Katsina State, Tinubu emphasised that leadership should be judged by visible accomplishments and lasting change, not public opinion.
“Let the people be at the heart of your programmes. Your hard work and concrete achievements will answer any criticism. Ignore distractions, your results will speak for you,” he said while commissioning major infrastructure projects.
One of the highlights of the visit was the inauguration of the 24-kilometre Eastern Bypass Road, which connects several key routes across Dutsin-ma, Kano, Daura, and Yandaki in Kaita Local Government Area.
The project, completed in 18 months by Governor Dikko Radda’s administration, is part of broader efforts to boost economic connectivity in the region.
