U.S. president, Donald Trump has revealed that he wants Jordan and Egypt to take Palestinians from the territory in a bid to create Middle East peace.
According to trump, he would like Egypt and Jordan more Palestinians from war-ravaged Gaza.
“I’d like Egypt to take people. And I’d like Jordan to take people,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One.
This comes as tens of thousands of Palestinians were blocked on the road, to return to their homes in northern Gaza on Sunday, voicing frustration after Israel accused Hamas of breaching a ceasefire agreement and refused to open crossing points.
However, reports have it that U.S. president Donald trump’s Middle East envoy, Steve witkoff, will travel to Israel on Wednesday to oversee the Gaza ceasefire.
