President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after a 19-day trip to France and the United Kingdom. He arrived at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Monday evening.
Tinubu was welcomed by top government officials, including the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike; National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; and his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.
The president had departed Abuja on April 2 for what was described as a “working visit” to Paris. According to his media aide, Bayo Onanuga, the trip was meant to review the administration’s progress and achievements so far.
Recall that the presidency has kept the details of his engagements abroad largely private.
